Mulmed Illustration

I created this vector illustration project entirely in Affinity Designer, combining technical precision with my creative ideas. To build the main structure and outlines, I used the Pen Tool to get clean, precise contours, and then paired it with the Pencil Tool so the lines felt more flexible, dynamic, and natural.

Making this in a vector illustration style was actually pretty tough and time-consuming, especially when I had to tweak all the node details and get the proportions just right. For the coloring phase, I relied on the Fill Tool to set up the color scheme and apply smooth gradients so each element gained depth without looking flat.

To finish it off, I added Layer Effects like drop shadows, glow, and lighting tweaks to give the artwork a good feel. Combining these features with my workflow in Affinity Designer really helped me produce a clean, characterful vector piece with a strong sense of depth.
